Genoa:
the classic tour of Portofino and Cinque Terre
Drive from your cruise ship towards the fancy Portofino, famous in the world for its landscape and for the luxurious small marine, where a lot of very important people of the international jet set anchor their yacht to enjoy the wonderful headland.
Than drive to Monterosso al Mare, long accessible from Levanto through the carriage road, it is undoubtedly the most visited tourist resort among Cinque Terre.
Here originate the National Park of Cinque Terre, protect by Unesco like Humanity heritage. La Spezia:
the Cinque Terre sail and trail excursion
After leaving your ship's tender and meet your driver move to Portovenere, an enchanting sea village on the rocky coast, famous for the English Poets Shelley and Byron poems. In the small port you have the public boat service to Riomaggiore the first southern Cinque Terre village where the via dell'amore start its footpath to Manarola, a breathless walk on the smellfully ligurian coast. Arrived in Manarola your party have the option to trek to Vernazza through Corniglia the only village not linked by public boart service. The trekking experience will take 3 hours with a easy/medium difficulty.
In Vernazza time for lunch or taste a genuine glass of wine "Sciacchetrà" and the boat to Monterosso where in the middle afternoon you'll meet your driver to drive back to La Spezia Port.

Carrara:
the marble quarries of Carrara and Michelangelo
After meeting at the ship's gangway, we will drive, by highway, to the town of Carrara, the world capital of marble, where are still in activity many quarries, opened in the Roman times.
That's the place where Michelangelo went in the past to find and choose personally in the mountains the white blocks of marble "statuario" for his masterpieces, such as The Pietà, The Moses and the David.
Once arrived in Carrara, with the help of a tour guide of the area you'll visit a traditional marble workshop, with the unique chance of seeing at work professional sculptors, still carving the marble pieces according the old sculpture techniques. Than you'll drive towards the close Apuan Alps ("the white marble mountains") to visit a breathtaking working mine with the assistance of professional and expert quarrymen. On request it'll be also possible to visit one of the Michelangelo quarries that provided the great sculptor with the snow-white blocks.
After visiting an interesting open-air Marble Museum, where will be explained and shown to you the main marble varieties extracted or worked in the area, the old and current quarrying methods and the old jobs of the quarrymen, we'll get to the quaint quarrymen village of Colonnata, of roman origins and worldwide famous for its gastronomic speciality, the "lardo", a kind of spiced white bacon aged in marble tubs for months.
Eventually, before driving back, you can end the day enjoying in a traditional winery of the region an optional tasting of the local DOC wines, olive oil and typical food and products.

Civitavecchia:
the classic marvels of Rome
Port of Civitavecchia - ROME - 08.00AM up to 05.00PM
Your driver will meet you outside the boat with a sign bearing your name at the hour you prefer, from Civitavecchia we will go to Rome and we will start our tour of the city. We will introduce you to the beauty of the Colosseum, Navona Square, Trevi fountain, Pantheon, Capitoline Hill ( view of the Roman Forum with description ); Spanish steps.
All sites mentioned above will be visited during the morning.
After a short break for lunch we will drive you to the Vatican Museum to visit the Sistine Chapel and the St. Peter's Basilica ( to visits both sites we will need 2 hours at least ).
At the end of the Vatican tour we will drive you back to Civitavecchia.

Amalfi and Positano coast villages
After your meeting with the driver move to Pompei with optional visit at the excavations. Than drive to Ravello an enchanting village with stupendous views, "closer to the sky than the sea"-
Andre Gide, quite lanes, two important Romanesque Churches and several irresistibly romantic gardens; Amalfi with its cream-colour and pastel-hue buildings tightly packing a gorge on the bay of Salerno, in 11th and 12th centuries was the seat of the Amalfi Maritime Republic, one of the world's great naval powers and a sturdy rival of Genoa and Pisa for control the Mediterranean sea.In the afternoon visit of Positano a village of Moorish-style houses clinging to slopes around a small sheltered bay.

After meeting our driver depart to Monreale where the Arab-Norman art and architecture reached the pinnacle of its glory with the Monreale Duomo, launched in 1174 by William II and represent the scene from the Old and New Testaments all in golden mosaics.
Then on to Palermo to explore the fascinating Sicilian Capital. Visit the Cathedral as well as a panoramic tour of the city viewing the Quattro canti, the Massimo Theater, aso. Visit to the famous Palatine Chapel inside the Royal Palace.

Milano...
...airport pick up and visit of the Maggiore and Como lakes
Arrival in Milano airport meeting with your driver and transfer to the city centre hotel.
For your requested date, leave your hotel at around 9am and proceed to Lake Maggiore, your first stop will be Stresa; after a panoramic visit of the city you can take a boat (private or public) and reach Isola Bella where you can visit the wonderful gardens of Villa Borromeo .
After your return to Stresa your driver will drive you to Como and Tremezzo where you can visit the most beautiful villas of Lake Como (Villa Carlotta ,Villa Mayer , Villa La Quiete). On your return you can stop at Villa D'Este hotel for a cup of tea and , after this short rest, you are ready to come back to your hotel in Milano.

Free visit of the Fragonard perfume factory and learn about the making process of perfume.
Monaco visit the old city which is called the "rocher" (the rock" : discover the Cathedral, the Prince's palace' square. Monte-Carlo, the casino on its beautiful square, then the harbour, where the Grand Prix motor race is held each year, and the new district of Fontvieille, entirely reclaimed from the sea.
Drive back to the ship along the low road (basse corniche) through Beaulieu a pleasant marina with an extraordinary mild climate and a very exclusive atmosphere.

Your sightseeing tour could start from your hotel or from your cruise ship at the agreeded timing. Your english speaking driver will drive you to discover the highlights of the town, and with his commentary will introduce you to the history of the Ramblas, the Gothic quarter, the famous Gaudi Batllo House, Sagrada Familia, Güell Park, than drive to the Olympic Ring. He'll remain at your disposal for the day and drive back to the destination you prefer.
